Spiritual Enterprises during Pandemic Crisis
Spiritual Enterprises

As every sector of the society experiences a sudden halt due to Covid – 19 pandemic, opportunities arise for innovative and creative way of reshaping life, mapping the new normal, new lifestyle and working schedule.

Being confined within the four walls of the convents, the MSMHCs around the globe make the clock ticks on and creatively address the current crisis, transform it into opportunities to serve, refocus, renew and rejuvenate life.

A new spiritual and missionary enterprise has been launched by the congregation since lockdown with the direction and guidance of Sr. Philomena Mathew, the Superior General. The mission continues ever more vibrantly through the ministry of prayer, daily chain adoration with unceasing intercessions for the whole world. Study and reflections on congregational matters and scripture further enhance knowledge and deepen the faith.

Hatigaon community had the privilege of being spiritually enriched through the guidance of the Superior General and sharing of insights and reflections as she made the visitation.

The MSMHC which was born in response to crisis amidst World War – II will continue to find its creative way of responding to the present needs of humanity.
